Check the size of your receiver by measuring across the opening to ensure you ordered the correct hitch cover size. A 2" hitch cover will fit into a 2-1/2" receiver, but the pin alignment will be 3/8" off. It sounds like you have a 2-1/2" receiver and ordered a 2" hitch cover. Contact us for a replacement with the correct size.
